Why does the author spend so much time describing the town?
The Auther spends some much time describing the town because he wants you to know how the town is. He wants you to get a feel of the towns people and the emotions they feel.
How does the description of the jail at the beginning of Part IV contribute to the development of the novel? I don’t know because I havent read that part yet ill get back to it .
