Well the author starts to build suspense when Dick got of jail and he met up with Perry to plan the murder. Then it started building up even more when they actually killed the clutter family because they thought it was bobby cause he was the last one to be at the clutters family. When they killed the clutters Dick And Perry actually didn’t find any money in there house they only took a couple of the clutters items that weren’t that valuable. Dick and Perry didn’t just kill the clutters it was a murder they shut them thru the head with shot guns and still shot at them when they were dead. Then after that, when the people from Holcomb didn’t know who was the murderer it started building up even more because they were blaming each other and the burned down the clutters family and until then I still don’t know why they burned it down. Then I think the story starts to calm down while they are investigating the crime. After that when it gets to the second part “answers” when Floyd Wells Started listening to the radio and he heard that the clutters were murdered and he wasn’t sure if he wanted to confess about what he knew.
