Church & State (Brianna)

Church and state should be kept far apart for many reasons. State is something everyone has a part in. Some people don’t go to church or even believe in god and devil, therefor why put church and religion on someone that doesn’t believe or care about the subject. When religion is brought into government institutions it can cause major conflict between people. For example, bringing religion into school could cause arguments and conflict between school faculty and parents because someone could have a different religion and the parent might not want another religion pushed on their child. When you bring religion in the laws of the states like, gay marriages aren’t allowed because people feel it isn’t “Right”, that’s not how god wanted us to be, causes many issues you begin to see riots, protests, and fights. This shows that many people get overly sensitive over religious. Also when are considered “crazy” or suffering from demechia, the church would consider them bewitched or possessed because the church would feel the devil did something to make a person like that. My feelings on this subject, is that church and state should stay far apart because people have their own feelings and options.
