Theme of the Crucible (Daleshawn)

One of the themes of the Crucible is that it is better to die with your honor, instead of compromising your faith, honor, and decency in order to live. If I were to live without my dignity I would feel terrible. The reason why I would feel terrible is that I would not have respect for myself for what I did or what I said to live. Some of the reasons why I would die is because it would make me look and feel like a better person, my name will be well respected and remembered, and a lot of people will think good things about me. If I die for my honor it would make me happy because I believe that I did the right thing. Another reason I would be happy is that a lot of people will respect me for doing the right thing for the right cause and will remember me as a good person. I do not think that I could live without my honor because I think that other people will think I’m an non trust worthy person, disrespectful, and other things like that. I also would not have faith in myself to do well, do the right thing, be respectful, and do well in school. The main reason why I would die is that I believe it is the right thing to die for your honor, respect, dignity, integrity, and faith and other things like that. So if I had a choice out of living without honor or die with my honor, my choice would be to die with my honor.
