Death Penalty (Brittani)

[Does Dick deserve the death penalty? Does Perry? Does anyone? You must use evidence from the book to support your answer; you may use outside resources as well, as long as you provide appropriate citations in MLA format.]
Death Penalty - the sentence of execution for murder and some other capital crimes (serious crimes, especially murder, which are punishable by death).
The death penalty has been debated for years, rather or not it should be legal. Some people disagree with the action, while others like me 100 percent agrees with it. Dick and Perry were not good people, and from when they first introduced them to the story I knew that they were no good. I feel that the story did in fact try to make it seem as if they were good guys, but something always felt a little out of place whenever they mentioned the two in the story. Dick and Perry was convicted of a horrible crime, they murdered a whole family. The was no specific reason for their doings, the Clutter’s were good people and never harmed anyone. Everyone in the town loved everything about them. So I do think they deserved the death penalty, they ended an innocent family’s live and the death penalty makes it sure that it wouldn’t happen again. I don’t think that Dick and Perry had any sympathy for the family, to kill innocent people, children that haven’t had the chance to enjoy their lives is a horrible thing. Dick and Perry ended it, ended everything, their wonderful home, and life. It all got token away for nothing, they didn’t deserve to live.
