“In Cold Blood” by Truman Capote writes in a unique writing style that I barely see in the recent books I have read. Of course, I also think this is because he is from the city and is not accustomed to the ways of country living. Capote writing in different points of views makes this story unbiased, unlike every other story, making this story one of a kind. I will give my opinion that the book was dry at first, giving out information that is irrelevant to the rest of the story. But having added this information of the Clutter family has the reader feel closer and sympathy for these characters. Having the story start with the victims and lead to their death is a great start so that the reader could understand the rest of the story and the parts divided. In my opinion it is a book of it time still marveled by readers of the criminal mystery. Truman Capote truly is a pioneer in this genre giving out inspiration to writers of this genre.
