The theme of in Cold Blood took place in a small town in Kansas named Holcomb it was like any other town small and everyone knew each other very well or at least some did, it was heart breaking for others to hear and actually see how Holcomb changed when the killings of the Clutter Family by killers Dick and Perry. Capote made a big impact on himself and on them by interviewing them each right after they died, prosecuted in April 14, 1965, he made a big difference in many people and how people see the world to this day because no one deserves to die for no reason at all. The theme in the story were mainly about the Clutter family and the killers Dick and Perry, the killers were found and sentenced to death for their wrong doings. Capote had different thoughts about both Dick and Perry he felt something positive and lightening about them in some way as well for the Clutter’s which others thought wrong about Dick and Perry. To this day the story stays true and as you see the Clutter home is still standing tall with new renovations. Capote also interviewed family members of both Dick and Perry And the Clutters, they questioned and asked questions as well but no one will ever know why they actually really killed them for, maybe next time they could have planned it better.
