Government and Religion (Gabby)


                                   
            I think that if you are a religious person you should be able to show part of it in a public place. If you couldn’t then why would it be called a public place in the first place? Government and religion are two different things, something that you can’t mix together everyone knows that. Religion inside of a public school is not a good idea because a lot of kids from different religions go to the same schools and it would be difficult to teach one religion when they have a lot of different religions and that wouldn’t even be fare to all the other kids. That’s why the government made it that in the public schools wont teach you about religion. Incase that you want to have a religion class you would have to go to a privet school.

I think that it’s a good thing that the government doesn’t talk about religion because then people would get mad if they talked about one type of religion so in other words they try not to have problems with their people.     I agree with this blog because the government has other problems, like economy problems, to worry about then religion problems. Therefore, Religion shouldn't interfere with government.

    i think religion an state should be separate because their is many religions and beliefs in america, that may cause a lot of fights and arguments.

    I think religion should be able to be expressed but with out being offended. You said people should be able to express their religion in a public place, but you also said that religion in school is not a good idea but as far as i'm concerned, school is a public place. I really think people should express their religion but show respect to others.

    I agree with the separation with public school and private because people will get mad if they are teaching something else and it is different in what they believe in.

    I feel like this blog is very contridictive because if you are allowed to show your religion in a public place, but NOT in a PUBLIC school? School is open to the public but I do believe that people should know how to seperate the two.

    I agree with you 100% because there are a lot of religions and if you bring religion to schools there will be a lot of problems within the student body because there might not be a class for every single kind of religion. And also the government has enough to deal with besides religion.

    I agree with you. If the government would want to teach an specific religion then the government should a private school specialize in that religion only.
