The Meaning Of Crucible (Alberto)

The meaning of crucible is a container made of a substance that can resist great heat, for melting, and fusing metals, etc.  This meaning would describe the story because I think that the story is mainly talking about the how people are trying to kill the witches because they think that they are daughters of the devil. The story also talks about how the witches blamed others so they can stay alive. I think that in the story is basically saying that they are really strong and nothing can destroy them. In the book that’s how the story started by talking about how the witches were really strong because they are a team and how good they work together, and when you’re together no one can defeat you. In the book the girls were made into witches because of tituba, he was the one who created them. The story also describes how difficult is to get rid of the witches because they are all in a group and there really strong together. The only thing that the witches have in common was that they were all created by tituba. This definition helps the story a lot because it tells everything that happens to the girls.
