I think that Truman was really trying to have people see the
book but not as soon as the crime happened. He was trying to get people to
really see not only what happened, but to see how their live was before the
clutters were murdered. I think that timelines were good for him because if you
have a certain time that you have something to be done than you really wouldn’t
try to put your ideas and all of the details into what you were doing you’ll be
trying to get the work done. If you have a lot of time to do something and you
are really passionate about what you are doing than you will have a lot of good
work done. I think that he wanted to put every detail and fact into the book
and be very precise about what he was doing. He basically wanted you to not only
know what happened but to know what there live was before it did happen witches
why you spoke about timelines. I think that he did a good job on the book, for
me personally I though it was good that he mention things like Nancy being in
love or Bonnies heath condition of about Herd signing his retirement fund right
before he and his family was murdered and if he had just rushed threw it than
facts like these wouldn’t have been in the story. That’s why I’m glad Truman put
his thoughts and facts in this story and used timelines.
