Character Development (Stephanie)

I do think that Capote does a good job of telling the readers the personalities of the people of the story, For example I feel sympathy for the Clutter family. Not only because I know what is going to happen to them, and I would feel sympathetic to anyone that, that happened t, but because I feel as if I know them personally and I feel as if I missed out on some wonderful people that you rarely find in our society today. I also feel angry toward Perry because the way Capote made him come across to me is a follower. Like he doesn't really want to do the things that Dick has talked him into but he has a lot of jealousy he gets angry at other peoples success I think that feeling that he has is something deeply rooted because he wants what he can't have and no matter how much he would ever get he would never be satisfied and that is hurtful to himself that is probably what Willie saw in him also. I also feel angry towards Dick because I think he is lazy he would rather kill people and steal from them or whatever his motive is for killing the Clutters, Instead of working or making something of himself.
