Reputation is important (Stephanie)

In our society a lot of people don't care what others may think or see them as. In my own opinion I believe reputation is a major, you should care what others think because you should make yourself look like someone that somebody might want to hire. They say don't judge a book by it's cover but there will be that one day that you may just have to look at the cover and the book might just look interesting by its creativity. Reputation might not be so important at times but when it comes to profession you should at least try to make yourself look more than you really are. For me my reputation matters a lot I don’t want to look like someone I’m not. I want to be able to walk into a store and not be followed around by some worker just because I’m dressed like someone who could possibly be a criminal. Reputation is most important to me when it comes to job searching, If I am looking for a job I should be dressed formal so they can see my interest in the job. Hygiene is one thing I know they look at, therefore visible tattoos and piercings can make you look bad, even the way your hair is can say a lot about you. I’d suggest just dress appropriate so people don’t think something I might not even be. Reputation is very important in the real world.
