Should "state" recognize certain types of religion? (Monica)

I think that churches and state should be really separate because some people might get offended what the representative or president might practice. The majority of people might get offended and they might want to move out or they might not even vote for a certain person because of religious purposes. I think its good that the government stays away from noticing certain religions so that in the future there won’t be any problems with people or other countries. I believe it’s okay to be a able to put up Christmas trees and stickers of Santa Clause because they are just figures of winter and for children’s imagination. So it think churches, religions should stay away from state and governments to prevent future problems like wars or any types of fights. I also think that schools shouldn’t be a part of any type of religions because schools have students from around the world and they could get offended and they could cause trouble to the school. I think that students aren’t really involved with their religion but when parents or their parent guardians come visit the school they could get mad and complain and try to change the school ways. Some people could over exaggerate on what the schools or state does as far as religion, they could be really upset and try to do something bad against the government or they could just not follow the states laws. Therefore, any type of state should not recognize any type of religion.
