Capote (Erick)

Capote keeps us interested in the book because he tell us detail be detail. What’s going to happen with the Clutters family. He tells us what was the environment that they were living in and how the family was like if they had some kind of illness or were sick. Also he says how the life of Dick and Perry were because Perry had a family and he went to bar and would preform and get money out of that so he could gave his family food and keep them in a good environment. Dick was alone he didn’t have no family but his friends Perry and he would always give Perry a ride or pick him up when he was out of the bars or where ever Perry would play. That makes the book interesting because the read want to keep knowing more and more about the book. Also since the book is about a murder its interesting because the reader would like to know was did Parry and Dick kill the Clutter’s family. What was they reason for them to kill the Clutter’s family, or if the Clutter’s family did something to them so Dick and Perry could have done that to them. Also this is something that happen in Kansas and I thought it was pretty interesting that someone would take their time and talk to the killers and to the rest of the Clutter’s family and ask why did Perry and Dick kill the Clutter’s family.

Nature v.s. Nurture -Trayvon Martin (Erick)

Nature V.S Nurture came in to play in this cause he could of done the nature thing call the police and let the police check it out. But no he did nurture cause he went to him and beat him and said Trayvon Martin had a gun when he really had a bag of skittles. The assumption the man made was take over him and have power because he had a gun and the teen had a bag of skittles what would the bag of skittles had done to the man nothing he just took advantage of the Trayvon Martin cause he didn’t attack him or had any kind of weapon on him. The rest of the society see’s this as a murder not as self-defense because he just took off on the poor kid he was just walking after buy some candy from the store on his way back home and beat him up and shot him saying that he had a gun and tried to attack him but he was screaming help the whole time because people in the neighbor hood said they hear the kid screaming for help then hear a gun shot. Also they see it like that because he had a bag of skittles and he was a average kid in school and also he played football in his high school he wasn’t looking for trouble he was just passing by to get to his house. a more nurturing environment to prevent the incident could have had been that his parent talked to him about the danger of waking in the night and the way to dress in the night because a lot of people judge you because of the way you look or dress and sometime even walk. The Zimmerman’s environment could have been hard because on the picture they took he look pretty insane in the head and looks like he has had a hard life but you never know how his life is until he speaks. Society can prevent this from happening again by change some law and by have better watch men in the night and have safer environment.

Francois Villon (Erick)

"Francois Villon was a medieval French post. He was a criminal, and in 1462 he was sentenced in to death by hanging. He wrote a book while being in prison the book is called ‘ballade des Pendus’ he wrote it before he was hanged. The reason he was sentenced to death hanging was because he killed a priest in 1455. Then joined a criminal organization and was involved in robbery, theft, and brawling. The meaning of the lines in the beginning of the book is “ o brother men who live, though we are gone, let not your hearts be hardened at the view, for if you pity us you gaze upon, god is more like to show you mercy too…. Pray then to god that he forgive us all”. The reason for these specific lines from this poet is because of how touching this book is so they can realize that even after doing something to someone its always going to hit us. And its basically he’s trying to touch peoples feelings. They way they relate to the text is by whoever murder a person for having no reason there always going to suffer no matter what. And its trying to say that even if there gone let it not hurt you when you see your new view, god is showing you peace and pray so god will forgive us all.

Plead Guilty (Erick)

Well first of all no body made me confess. It was my choice I wanted to confess because I didn’t want women, children, and men to be afraid of going out to the forest because there is nothing bad in the forest or them being scared of people who get sick and think they got in some kind of witch craft problem but they really didn’t they are just sick and need help. So I choose to confess. It wasn’t worth admitting I used witchcraft because a lot of people knew me and looked up to me and talk to me but now everyone looks at me like if I was a monster. So I really don’t know if me admitting to what I did is good cause everyone looks at me like I was going to kill them or do something to them. I wouldn’t accused no one else to save my self because at the end they are going to find out and the consequences are going to be worse. Also if I accuse someone I have to have evidence of what he or she did and why he or she did what they did or were up to. People said they were guilty of witchcraft because the would go on some black book and name them ass the people who did witchcraft. Also they would say that they were good a Christian if they admitted the truth of them doing witchcraft.
